Every Friday at noon, join School and Teacher Services staff for a virtual field trip to the High Museum.

STEAM Programming at The High Fosters Inclusiveness,

Students from Tapestry Charter School do an art making workshop together.

In 2017, the High Museum of Art launched a partnership with Tapestry Charter School to pilot a STEAM program aimed at students on the autism spectrum. The High’s STEAM program for students on the spectrum fosters inclusiveness for these children and promotes art appreciation and visual literacy.

Global Village Project is a special school designed to serve newcomer refugee girls who have missed years of formal schooling due to displacement as refugees. The High Museum is proud to partner with GVP to provide students with access to art.

Toddler Tours,

Teen Friday Night Kickback,

Don’t miss out on this teen workshop on the second Friday of each month from 6–9 p.m. FriHIGHday introduces youth to the Museum, art techniques, and other teens.

Classes,

The High offers special class series throughout the year for youth and adults. Learn techniques from local artists. Join Museum Education Staff for discussions concentrating on special exhibitions and the High’s permanent collection as you explore the galleries.

Toddler Thursdays,

Designed for children ages fifteen months through three years with their caregivers, Toddler Thursdays engage children’s creativity and incorporate monthly themes with related artwork, art-making activities, stories, and tours.

Second Sundays,

On the second Sunday of each month, the High Museum offers FREE ADMISSION for all visitors and family programming from 1 to 4 p.m. Enjoy art-making activities, tours, performances, and the High’s permanent collection and special exhibitions.

School Break Programs,

Combat school break boredom with a healthy dose of art and creativity! The High has drop-in art making workshops for your family to get involved.
