Description

American Johanna Grawunder’s striking designs stage lively conversations on color, reflection, and uncomplicated forms. Grawunder often collaborated with post-modern Italian design legend and mentor Ettore Sottsass; true to Sottsass’s whimsical, colorful influence, one must view the cubic rectangles of SPLITS Bench from different angles to appreciate the movement of light and the ever-changing, playful reflections. By using LEDs, Grawunder shows that high-end design can also be energy efficient.
